  1. I thougght I should help people to understand that there is a difference between allowing God's Word to speak for you verses merely giving an attitude or an assumption wrapped in vague thought.. The first to be addressed is that I have no issues drawn on my own behalf. I learned long ago that name calling or 'issue catagories' are useless, However, if I use God's Word, and it address a physical or moral issue then I must side with God because God is right. I may choose other options but if God address' something then in my mind the answer from Him is the finale assement. In this mannor I don't live in men's thoughts but stand on God's Word. That makes it right. Do what God's Word says is right because it's right. Then therefore the judgement against me, if it is negitive is not against me but against God. I share the following; not to make any one angry but simply to demonstrate God's standard; In the New Testament of the Holy Bible we find in Romans 2:6-11 the following..... For he(God) will repay according to each one's deeds: 7 to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 while for those who are self-seeking and who obey not the truth but wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. 9 There will be anguish and distress for everyone who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality. NRSV (GOD) by writer. God clearly tells us there is right and wrong. He clearly informes us the choice is yours, However, He also informes us there are end results for the choices we make. He, God leaves the choice up to you. This is called 'free will'. Man/woman can chose to do right or wrong but theire are end results for our choices. When the issue in this poll is addressed we must make a choice. Do I believe God or do what I want to do. Thats your 'free will'. What does God say about same sex choices? I give you the following account of God's Word again and you can make the choice. Rom 1:20-29 20 Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse; 21 for though they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless minds were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools; 23 and they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error. 28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind and to things that should not be done. NRSV There was nothing forced here. This is not rape but 'choice'.Clearly this is men having sex with men and women with wemen. God calls it 'unnatural'. God calls it 'degrading passion' and 'unnatural'. In other words ...'sin'...It's not hard to understand. You make the choice. God gives you that right. But remember, you're responsible for your decisions contrary to His right and moral decisions. I said 'HIS'; not mine. Wrong decisions cause them to have a futile mind". That which is not in agreement with God. Now recall this, God does not need to repeat Himself. He does not have to repeat something in His Holy Word ten times to make it right. Once is enough! God declares it; He does not have to build His case. It is right the first time He declares it. My desire here tonite is to be forthright, upfront and unjudgemental. Man does not have to condemn another man. Man will condemn himself if he wants to. It's his choice. Women do not have to be condemned by men/women; they will condemn themselves if they want to. My answer here is by no means total as there are multitudes of God's informstive answers for the right or wrong on this issue. If you want more answers they are in God's Word. And yes, Jesus does address this issue. Our readers generally quote what they've read from someone else or read a paragraph or two and not all four Gospels being Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which all record the life of Jesus. All four therefore must be read to comprehend that which God desires to teach us about His only Son. Jesus Christ the living Son of God. Mine answer is not to anger, point a finger or otherwise; it is simply to inform of God's answer and to show according to God homosexuality, be it man to man or woman to woman,,,,is contrary to god's will.

  2. "Don't you love those who pick and choose from the Bible to "prove" that homosexuals are an abomination and therefore do not deserve civil rights? Well so did Jeb Bartlett, fictional president in the West Wing ... " go to the URL to view - http://www.ablueview.com/2008/12/using-the-bible-as-a-basis-for-homophobia.html "...There is no mention of homosexuality in the four Gospels of the New Testament. The moral teachings of Jesus are not concerned with the subject...." (http://www.philosophy-religion.com/handouts/homophobic.htm)" "...But how accurate is the claim that the Bible condemns homosexuality as a sin? At best the record is ambivalent. There are seven biblical passages that are regularly cited by fundamentalist Christians and their fellow travelers to justify their condemnation of homosexuality. Three are in the Old Testament and four are in the New Testament. However, three of the four found in the New Testament are highly suspect and appear to refer to sexual anomalies such as temple prostitution, pederasty or forced sexual activity which are quite unrelated to homosexuality. So the biblical texts that actually condemn homosexuality as we today understand it, are only four in the entire Bible and none of them, interestingly enough, is found is the Gospels. According to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jesus never said a word about homosexuality. Given the all consuming nature of the current ecclesiastical debates on this issue that fact comes as a shock. Jesus does talk about those who are victims of prejudice like the Samaritans, and those who are marginalized and rejected like the lepers, but he never says a word about anyone's sexual orientation. Perhaps church leaders should contemplate the possibility that they are, as one man once suggested, "making much of that which cannot matter much to God." ...
